Last week about 75 students participated in Green Dragons “Chicken Breeds and Chicken Care” during one of their Flex periods. Students got a chance to study the five-week-old chicks that were hatched in the Biology classroom on the first day of Spring. Many of them earned the title “chicken whisperer” because of their ability to put their chick to sleep. Students also got a chance to learn about our flock of full grown hens that live in the Living Lab. Many chicken selfies were taken.
