APPLICATION PROCESS

Here’s a breakdown of the application process:

Step 1: Register for O'Dowd Admissions Events
Step 2: Complete an Application

  • Part 1

    • For families applying to multiple Catholic schools in the East Bay, please use this link to apply, as it will allow you to share transcripts and recommendations across each school to which you apply.

    • For families where O’Dowd is the only Catholic school to which they’re applying: Complete the application form.

    • Reduced application fee until December 10, 2026.

  • Part 2: Complete the application checklist by logging back into your portal.

    • Schools have until February 4 to submit the requested recommendation forms and transcripts.

    • Final Deadline for Parts 1 and 2: January 5, 2027

    • Tuition Assistance Application Deadline: January 14, 2027

  • Interested in being a transfer student for the 2027-2028 school year? Contact admissions@bishopodowd.org. We ask you not to apply as a transfer without contacting the admissions office first.

Step 3: Register for High School Placement Test (HSPT)​
Step 4: Apply for Tuition Assistance​

  • Applications Open November 1, 2026

  • Deadline: January 14, 2027

  • Information here.

Step 5: Admissions Decisions and Enrollment

  • Decisions sent via email on March 12, 2027, after 4:00pm​

  • Enrollment March 13, 2027, after 3:00pm.

  • Please note that sibling families may enroll after 4:00pm on Friday, March 12.
