O'DOWD'S ANNUAL FUND
Your philanthropy is an essential resource that impacts all aspects of campus life. The Bishop O’Dowd High School Annual Fund supports our unique experiential learning opportunities, our incredible faculty and staff, and provides financial aid to our students. Last year, over 1,500 alumni, grandparents, parents and friends made a gift to the Annual Fund. We hope you will take a moment to renew your support. Parent Pledge
Our Parent Pledge helps bridge the gap between the tuition O’Dowd charges, and the actual cost of an O’Dowd education. The Parent Pledge contributes to O’Dowd’s small class sizes, exceptional faculty, comprehensive academic support, campus enhancements, campus ministry, and our award-winning programs including Debate, Drama, Athletics, and the Living Lab.
Alumni Giving
Alumni are the foundation of O’Dowd’s network of support and a quintessential part of our culture of philanthropy. Participation in giving at any level is a meaningful way to honor the past and express support for the School’s future. Giving is encouraged every year – through the longstanding tradition of Reunion Giving or outside the five-year Reunion cycle.
Reunion Giving
Reunions represent a significant opportunity to reconnect with old friends as well as O’Dowd. Over the decades, Reunion Class Gifts have provided critical support to sustain long-held traditions while also ensuring that O’Dowd remains a leading Catholic high school in the Bay Area.. A Reunion Class Gift is any type of gift made during your reunion year (July 1 to June 30). Any gift given during this period is counted as a Reunion Class Gift.
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund provides unrestricted support to our most pressing needs as they emerge allowing Bishop O’Dowd to be nimble and innovative in our work with students. The Fund also provides tuition assistance for students to continue their rich educational journey at O’Dowd. The collective participation of alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends sustains our extraordinary school and strengthens our beloved community. All gifts, small and large, are truly appreciated.
