On behalf of Bishop O’Dowd High School, it is our pleasure to invite you back to campus for O’Dowd Reunion Day on May 6, 2023, to connect and reminisce! While we are excited to welcome back and celebrate milestone reunions of classes ending in 3s and 8s, all alumni and guests (21+) are invited to attend!

The O’Dowd Reunion Day will celebrate milestone reunions for classes 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018!

We encourage you to take full advantage of your time back on campus and hope that you will have a wonderful time catching up with friends and teachers while remembering your years at O’Dowd!

Golden Celebration & Ceremony
Our Golden Celebration & Ceremony will honor the Class of 1973 and their 50th Reunion; there will be a short program and diploma ceremony.
Classes of 1955-1972 are encouraged to join us as we welcome the newest class into the Golden Era of reunions.

When is the O’Dowd Reunion?
The O’Dowd Reunion will be in-person and will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Bishop O’Dowd High School from 3:00 to 7:00pm, with a special ceremony at 2:00pm to honor the Class of ‘73’s Golden reunion. The event will be in-person, providing guests the ability to catch up with one another and connect with more of the O’Dowd community.
Will there be a Golden Celebration & Ceremony?
Yes, a celebration for the Class of 1973’s 50th Reunion will begin at 2:00pm. Alumni who already celebrated their Golden reunion (1955-1972) are encouraged to join us at the Golden Celebration and diploma ceremony.

Who will receive an invitation?
The O’Dowd Reunion Day 2023 invitations will be mailed out in March 2023 to all members of milestone classes: 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018! Our most recent Golden Ceremony invitees will also receive an invitation. All alumni 21+ are encouraged and welcome to attend. Make sure your contact information is up-to-date! I would like to tour the new Bishop John S. Cummins Center. Will it be open?
Yes! We absolutely love to show you our new center!

Will there be a student production that weekend on campus?
Yes! The student production is Urinetown. Tickets can be added during Reunion Day registration.

I graduated in a different O’Dowd class than those being celebrated, am I invited?
Absolutely! All alumni 21 years of age and older are welcome to attend.
May I bring my children?
Unfortunately, no. This is a 21+ event. We hope you will come and enjoy yourself!

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens. Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, we can help transfer your ticket. If you have someone that will be attending in your place, please let us know so we can adjust the registration information for event check-in.
​
Safety Protocol
This year’s event will be outside. Covid safety protocols will be in alignment with Alameda County and Bishop O’Dowd High School.

What should I wear?
Casual attire with a coat for the cool Bay Area evening.

Will I be able to park on site?
There is limited on-site parking. We encourage everyone to carpool with a designated driver or use a rideshare service to attend this event.
