A native Californian, Sara’s most formative experience was living and working with the Cabrini sisters in a slum in Argentina soon after college, an experience that shaped both her faith and vocation. She earned her BA in Sociology from UC San Diego, her Master’s in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union, and her teaching credential from Holy Names University. After seven years in social services, she has been teaching Religion and Spanish since 2005. She strives to balance academic excellence with care for the whole child, bringing compassion and global perspective to her classroom. She currently lives in Alameda with her family.
