Key Dates

 

Placement Tests

All enrolled students and families will receive an email by March 27 with information regarding placement test registration.

  • Tuesday, April 21, 4:00 - 5:15pm (5:45pm end for extended time) - English Placement Testing

  • Wednesday, April 22, 4:00 - 5:15pm (5:45pm end for extended time) - World Language Placement Testing

  • Thursday, April 23, 4:00 - 5:15pm (5:45pm end for extended time) - Math Placement Testing

Student and Family Welcome Event

  • Saturday, May 9 - 9:00 - 11:00am - Navigating O’Dowd

All 9th graders, transfers, and their families are strongly encouraged to participate in this welcome event. This is a great way to meet fellow classmates, celebrate your Dragon Pride, and prepare for the first day of school. The Dragon Den will be open to get your O’Dowd gear!

Start of School Important Dates

 

August - Counseling Appointments

An email to schedule an appointment with your counselor will go out in June.

 

August 5 & 6 - 9th Grade Retreat and Orientation
Come in your O’Dowd polo and bring your laptop and charger.

 

Wednesday, August 5 - Welcome Coffee for 9th Grade
Parents & Guardians, drop off your 9th grader at orientation and then meet fellow parents and guardians for coffee and treats.

 

Thursday, August 6 - New Student and Family BBQ
All students and parents are welcome to this community event! Meet fellow Dragons, eat delicious food, and celebrate new beginnings!

 

Monday, August 10 - First Day of School

Eventually begin to use the My O'Dowd/Current Families page going forward for these resources.
