Robert brings decades of experience in parks and facilities management to his role overseeing facilities at O’Dowd. Before joining the school, he spent 38 years with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, including 20 years as a manager. In that role, he supervised more than 75 employees and was responsible for overseeing more than 45 parks across the city.

During his career, Robert helped plan and participate in the rebuilding of more than 20 recreation centers and parks. His service earned him a Certificate of Honor from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and a Proclamation from the Mayor. He currently continues his public service as a Commissioner for the Oakland Parks and Recreation Department.
