Otis is a member of O’Dowd’s Creation Care Team, where he shares his passion for practical, life-giving skills rooted in environmental stewardship. He earned his BA in Political Science from Humboldt State University and is a Master Gardener Instructor, Master Composter, and Advanced Green Gardener. A Bay Area native, he loves sharing knowledge and believes the skills he teaches are integral to everyday life. Known for his unmistakably strong voice and dynamic presence, he brings energy and enthusiasm to his work. He’s also quick to share memorable bits of trivia, like the fact that worm castings make an excellent exfoliant before a facial. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking, touring, bird watching, and reading.
