Meredith has called the Bay Area home for the past 20 years after growing up in St. Louis. She earned her BA in Literature and Language with an emphasis in Script Writing from Webster University. As a high school theatre teacher, she believes the performing arts empower students to develop confidence, empathy, and imagination. Grounded in the belief that respect is the foundation of learning, she creates a collaborative, student-centered environment where young artists feel encouraged to take creative risks. She especially values O’Dowd’s commitment to following through on its mission and inspiring the entire community to be part of that shared purpose. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, biking, and exploring local treasures throughout the Bay Area.
