A proud Oakland native and graduate of O'Dowd, Juliet now serves the community as a counselor. She earned her BA from Duke University, triple majoring in Spanish, History, and Comparative Area Studies, and later completed her MA in School Counseling at Trinity College. Over the years, she has served in many roles—including teacher, college counselor, admissions director, and dean of students—but knows with certainty that counseling is her true calling.

She approaches her work with deep presence and intentional listening, allowing space and silence so students can find their own words and direction. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, thrifting, gardening, and spending time with her husband and three children, as well as her beloved mother, the fabulous Mrs. A.
