John's passion for computers began in 1989 when he received a Macintosh Classic, followed a few years later by an IBM 486 PC that he upgraded over time—sparking a lifelong curiosity about how technology works. Since 1999, he has built his career through several IT roles, gaining experience in network administration as well as PC and Mac repair.

John enjoys helping keep the school’s technology running smoothly so students and staff can focus on learning. He believes O’Dowd is a great place for students to achieve their academic goals, especially with the strong Advanced Placement programs offered on campus. Outside of work, John is a longtime anime fan dating back to the early days of Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Robotech. He is also a lifelong gamer who especially enjoys single-player role-playing and adventure games, along with the occasional online multiplayer game like World of Warcraft.
