Born in Oakland and raised in Hayward, Joelle earned her BA in Global Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California and her MA in Intercultural Studies from Biola University. She began teaching Religious Studies out of a deep love for God and Scripture, with a desire to help young people grow in their understanding of faith. In her classroom, she strives to make learning engaging, accessible, and memorable, while modeling Christ’s love and servant leadership for her students.
