Jeff teaches science with a focus on helping students build a deeper relationship with the natural world. Originally from Porterville, California, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with minors in History and Philosophy, from San Jose State University, and later completed a Juris Doctor at the New College of California School of Law in San Francisco.

Jeff believes education can raise consciousness, spark curiosity, and inspire students to care for the planet. His teaching emphasizes authenticity and genuine connection, encouraging students to learn about the Earth so they feel motivated to protect it. Outside the classroom, he enjoys backpacking, making music, playing instruments, and spending time with friends and family.
