A Bay Area native, Heather earned her BA in Mass Communications and Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She teaches 9th grade Advanced World History, embracing a warm demander approach that balances high expectations with strong relationships and meaningful support. She especially appreciates the incredible resources available to students and staff at O’Dowd, as well as the beauty of the campus and its views of the Bay. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys true crime podcasts, traveling—particularly to Puerto Rico—and discovering new music and food.
