Fr. Leo is a longtime friend and advocate of O’Dowd, bringing decades of pastoral leadership and a deep love for Catholic education to his work with the Dragon community.

In his role, Fr. Leo helps guide and strengthen the school’s Catholic identity and charism—encouraging the community to live out the Gospel through faith, social justice, and kinship with creation. Drawing on more than 27 years of pastoral experience, he works with faculty, staff, and leadership to support mission-driven programs, mission-aligned hiring, and initiatives that deepen the school’s spiritual life and commitment to equity.

Fr. Leo also serves the wider Church in several leadership roles, including the Diocesan Presbyteral Council and the College of Consultors, and he chairs the Diocesan Racial Justice Task Force. A member of O’Dowd’s Board of Regents and a familiar presence at school Masses and events, he is deeply beloved by many O’Dowd families.
