Known to students as “Dr. Vino,” Vinothini brings a deep love of chemistry and a passion for making science accessible and engaging. She holds a PhD and MS in Chemistry from the University of South Dakota, as well as a BS and MS in Chemistry from Bharathidasan University in India. Originally from India, she enjoys helping students see the fascinating and fun side of scientific discovery.

In the classroom, Dr. Vino focuses on simplifying complex scientific concepts and connecting what students learn to everyday life. She believes science has the power to explain the mysteries of the world and encourages students to think about how scientific ideas apply beyond the classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
