Diana brings a passion for language and culture to her work in the classroom. Originally from Pennsylvania, she earned her BA in Political Science from Columbia University and completed an Advanced Certificate in Spanish Language and Culture at the American British College in Barcelona, Spain. She teaches to spark curiosity about languages and cultures beyond students’ own and to serve as a supportive adult who recognizes their value and potential. By giving students choice and ownership in the classroom, she fosters responsibility, empathy, and engagement. She believes multilingualism strengthens academic performance and deepens understanding across differences. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, cooking, painting, drawing, and hiking.
