Damian earned his BS in Political Science with a minor in Religious Studies from Santa Clara University, and later completed his MA in English through The Writer’s Craft Program at Holy Names University. Originally from Sacramento, he has spent the past 17 years in the Bay Area.

He believes that clear communication and the ability to understand another’s words are essential to the growth of compassion and knowledge. Through his work in academic support and student publications, he helps students strengthen their voices and develop confidence as writers and thinkers. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling, spending time with close friends and family, and rediscovering hobbies after completing his graduate studies.
