Christina is O’Dowd’s first female safety officer and brings a strong background in both education and public service to her role. A graduate of Heald College with a degree in criminal justice, she interned with a U.S. Marshal and also worked alongside a Navy SEAL. She and her husband were both active in Catholic school communities, serving as Athletic Directors at St. Jarlath, where their children attended.

Christina values O’Dowd as a place where students feel safe, supported, and connected as they grow. She enjoys building relationships with students and also teaches a section of AP African American Studies focused on Yoruba religion.

Outside of her work, Christina has a background in dance, having trained in tap, ballet, and modern. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mexican President Porfirio Díaz.
