Corinna brings a deep academic and personal commitment to the study of religion and Scripture. Originally from San Jose, she earned her BA in Comparative Religious Studies from San Jose State University and her MA in Biblical Languages and Biblical Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology and the Graduate Theological Union. She has also completed advanced doctoral studies in Biblical Studies at the Graduate Theological Union.

She teaches to make what can seem incomprehensible more accessible, inviting students to explore self, other, and the divine through shared inquiry and reflection. She believes religion permeates human experience and that developing the vocabulary and skills to engage in thoughtful, open dialogue is essential for a just and compassionate society. Outside of school, she enjoys music-filled family moments, backyard birdwatching, and bringing humor and energy to everyday life.
