Originally from San Francisco, Kip holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He first joined the O’Dowd community when his son played soccer at the school, eventually becoming the team’s coach. All three of his children later graduated from O’Dowd.

Kip appreciates the spirit of the O’Dowd community, especially the strong athletics programs and the wide range of student clubs that make the school such a well-rounded place for students. In his free time, he enjoys fishing.
