Allison was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Plano, Texas. She earned her BA, M.Ed., and PhD from Texas A&M University. She has lived in the Bay Area for the past 15 years with her husband, two children, a Labrador named Kayak, and a rescue cat named Pearl.

Allison feels grateful to live out her vocation as an educator at O’Dowd. She especially values working alongside the school’s remarkable students and dedicated faculty and staff to help cultivate a joyful learning community that values academic excellence and care for others. Outside of school, Allison enjoys gardening, reading, crafting, and paddle boarding on the Russian River whenever she can.
