Originally from Michigan, Aileen has been in the Bay Area for 25 years. She earned her BBA with a focus on accounting from the University of Michigan and her MBA with a focus on finance and strategy from Washington University in St. Louis. Aileen believes that strong financial stewardship is the backbone of a sustainable school community, and she is passionate about using her expertise in corporate banking and her work as a CPA to safeguard O’Dowd’s future. Her guiding principles are centered on the responsible conservation of our resources to enhance the daily student experience and remain an accessible choice for families for generations to come. She appreciates the love and support the O'Dowd community brings to students and each other (faculty and staff) every single day—with the smiles, the drop-in meetings, the hugs, and the acknowledgement and validation of the hard work put into each and every project. On her off-days, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, hiking with her dog, and occasionally procrasti-baking to avoid chores.
