A rider’s combined time/score crowns the overall winner.
On Saturday, August 5, Caleb blistered the 26-mile course with over 4,000 feet of climbing, and technical downhills sections in 2 hours, 28 minutes and 25 seconds. On Sunday, August 6, Caleb won the junior downhill race in a time of 51 minutes and 12 seconds – a time equal to many of the pros who had come from around the world to compete.
Caleb’s combined efforts won him the title of All Mountain Junior World Champion. He received his awards on Sunday in front of a packed house on Main Street, in the beautiful historic gold rush town of Downieville, California.
Caleb also rides and competes for Bishop O’Dowd High School in the Norcal High School mountain bike league.
