End of Year Mass Celebrated

The O’Dowd community gathered on the Quad on May 18 for the End of Year Mass, celebrated by campus chaplain and religion teacher Fr. Jim Sullivan.

Prior to the start of the liturgy, Campus Ministry Team members offered a skit to help set the theme: “Rejoice, Relive, Remember.” During the skit, the team members highlighted the many things O’Dowd students experienced and accomplished during the 2016-17 school year.

Finally, departing faculty and staff, including Director of Campus Ministry Greg Moore, Director of Sustainability Andra Yeghoian, Academic Coordinator Candy Promes, history and English teacher Ronny Smith ’06, Spanish teacher Ivonne Padilla, physics and robotics teacher Dr. Dave Hodul and Math teacher John Pabico, were recognized and thanked, and a special blessing was offered for students participating in various service learning programs and projects this summer, as well as those who are taking on leadership roles next year.
