An Eagle Court of Honor was held on Saturday, January 6, at O’Dowd to honor him. O’Dowd Chaplain Father Jim Sullivan participated in the event.

Alec’s Eagle project was to design and install an interior and exterior marker that commemorates the history of Corpus Christi Church. The exterior marker commemorates the rich history of the church, while the interior marker describes the interior changes of the church over the years. He researched documents, interviewed parishioners, wrote the copy, designed the graphic layout, directed the manufacturing, and led the installation of both markers. The outside marker is located near the front of the church and the framed interior marker is hung up near the side entrance of the church. These markers bring to light pieces of the church’s history that are not well known and will inform parishioners on the church’s past.
