Why I Teach:
I teach so that I can provide a space where students can be heard and valued. I teach so that students may recognize their own power and worth and learn to claim that for themselves in the pursuit of love and joy.
Most powerful teaching technique:
The ability to meet people where they're at! To have the patience and understanding that everyone's background and understanding of the world is different, and creating a space that can promote growth and learning within that space.
Why are the subjects you teach important?:
Religion and Religious Studies is the most powerful when we choose it for ourselves. Taking the time to really explore our understanding of the world also helps us better understand ourselves. The more we learn about ourselves, the more powerful we become.
