I love helping people (especially kids) find solutions to problems.
Most powerful teaching technique:
Being a good listener, staying calm and maintaining a sense of humor. I'm also big on encouragement.

I was a member of a trivia bowl team in college as the Star Trek trivia specialist (trivia about trivia!)

I am drawn to stories in film that are real, heartbreaking and well-directed, such as "Ordinary People," "Witness," "Terms of Endearment" and "Manchester By The Sea." I'm a sucker for a good cry!
Hobbies or outside interests:
skiing, swimming, needlework, food, sailing (new addition!)
