Gabriel brings a project-based approach to helping students engage with history. A San Francisco native, he earned his Master’s in Education from the University of San Diego. In his classes, students explore historical questions through authentic projects that connect the past to present-day issues. He believes studying history provides essential context for understanding modern social challenges and encourages students to think critically about the world around them. Outside of school, he enjoys watching football, hiking, practicing yoga, and grilling.
