Originally from Los Angeles, Cesar has lived in the Bay Area for the past 11 years. He holds a BS in Secondary Education and Communications from California State University, Northridge. At O’Dowd, he teaches Spanish II, Spanish II Advanced, and Spanish III.

Cesar describes his teaching approach as both loving and rigorous, encouraging students to give their best effort in everything they do as a class. He appreciates the diversity of the O’Dowd community and the many ways it is reflected in school life. Outside the classroom, Cesar enjoys coaching, staying active, and making sure the people around him feel seen and supported.
