A lifelong East Bay resident, Nicole has dedicated her career to teaching in the community that shaped her. She earned her BA in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College, along with a Social Studies Teaching Credential and an MA in Educational Leadership. She teaches to pay forward the profound impact her own teachers had on her life and loves creating classrooms where students lean into collaboration, take intellectual risks, and find joy in learning together. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her dog—always looking forward to visits home from her grown children and sharing a good meal together.
