An Oakland native and O’Dowd alum, Julia holds a BA in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and an MS in Counseling from San Francisco State University. In her work with students, Julia is passionate about supporting them holistically—helping them explore the connections between identity, life experience, academics, and future career paths.

Julia’s approach emphasizes normalizing exploration and recognizing growth as an essential part of the high school journey. She enjoys building strong relationships with students, both in the counseling office and on the rugby field as the Varsity Girls Head Coach. Outside of school, she loves all things rugby, trips to Disneyland, family beach days, and exploring Oakland’s vibrant food scene with friends.
