Christie is dedicated to helping students build the confidence and skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Originally from Hayward, California, she earned her BA in Child Development and History from CSU Sacramento and her MA in Social and Emotional Learning, with an emphasis in Executive Functioning and Neurodiversity, from National University.

Christie’s path to education is deeply personal. School was not always easy for her, but the encouragement of caring educators—along with her own experience as an O’Dowd student—helped her believe in herself. That experience inspires her work with students today. She focuses on empathy and connection, helping students develop executive functioning skills that serve as the foundation for whole-person learning and long-term success.
