ATHLETIC CAMPS

For students who are new to a sport or just want to work on their skills, O’Dowd’s Summer Athletic Camps focus on skill development and support athletes at all levels. Prepare to get motivated and have fun with our experienced coaching staff.​

Registration opens mid-February, with camps added throughout the spring.

Athletic Department Camps
Baseball Skills (Coed, Incoming 3th-5th)

Combines opportunities for campers to learn skill in hitting, fielding, throwing and base running in a fun and fast paced environment

Baseball Skills (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

This class is designed for players to develop their overall baseball skills while having fun. Featuring drills and progressions, including hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and base running.
 

Basketball Skills (Coed, Incoming 2th-5th)

Led by members of O'Dowd's current basketball staff and current players, the class is designed for players who are interested in developing their overall basketball skills.

Basketball Skills (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

The class is designed for players who are interested in developing their overall basketball skills while having fun doing it. This class will feature drills and progressions aimed at building skills in various aspects of the game.

Football (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

These instructional football camps are taught by O'Dowd football coaches and current players, and a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football while having fun. All skill levels are welcome, no previous experience required.

 

Boys Soccer (Incoming 6th-8th)

Players will work on learning and refining the technical fundamentals to being a soccer player. They will learn the ability to be confident on the ball in a 1 versus 1 situation. We will teach the players how to make the right decision under pressure

Girls Soccer (Incoming 6th-8th)

Players will work on learning and refining the technical fundamentals to being a soccer player. They will learn the ability to be confident on the ball in a 1 versus 1 situation. We will teach the players how to make the right decision under pressure

Track and Field (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

This classes teaches participants techniques to improve sprinting, throwing, and hurdling, as well as fundementals in nutrition, hydration, and all-around-health.

 

Volleyball (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th Grade)

For beginner to intermediate players, this class build proper fundamental techniques in passing, defense, hitting, setting, and serving, as well as team skills.

O'Dowd Team Camps

These are for incoming and returning O'Dowd student athletes, and are coordinated by team coaches. Look for information from your coaches.
