SUMMER - ATHLETIC CAMPS

For students who are new to a sport or just want to work on their skills, O’Dowd’s Summer Athletic Camps focus on skill development and support athletes at all levels. Prepare to get motivated and have fun with our experienced coaching staff.

Athletic Camps

Baseball (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

This class is designed for players to develop their overall baseball skills while having fun. Featuring drills and progressions, including hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and base running.
 

Basketball (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

This youth basketball camp equips players with the skills to not only succeed in competition, but to take their skills into life and leadership as well.

Football (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

These instructional football camps are taught by O'Dowd football coaches and current players, and a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football. 

 

Boys Soccer (Incoming 6th-8th)

This class teaches the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, ball manipulation, juggling, changing pace/direction, and passing, as well as learning to prevent injury.

Girls Soccer (Incoming 6th-8th)

This class teaches the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, ball manipulation, juggling, changing pace/direction, and passing, as well as learning to prevent injury.

Track and Field (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th)

This classes teaches participants techniques to improve sprinting, throwing, and hurdling, as well as fundementals in nutrition, hydration, and all-around-health.

 

Volleyball (Coed, Incoming 6th-8th Grade)

For beginner to intermediate players, this class build proper fundamental techniques in passing, defense, hitting, setting, and serving, as well as team skills.

Strength and Conditioning (10-12th returning O'Dowd student-athletes only)

Coach Beito will work with you to develop strength, coordination and agility as you prepare for your upcoming season.
