Symphonic Band played a rousing opening set for the annual MUSE Band Winter Concert including the pieces “Sabre Dance” and “By the Rivers of Babylon”. MUSE Band is a wonderful educational organization started by Mr. Bryant Allard that gets elementary students started on band and orchestra instruments. O’Dowd has had a long and productive relationship with MUSE and many of their students have gone on to join O’Dowd’s music department. O’Dowd’s musicians always enjoy inspiring the younger ones to continue and reach their potential during their coming high school years.
