We are excited to continue the Parent Book Club with four meetings in the spring semester. The book club is an opportunity to meet in smaller groups with parents to discuss the views of contemporary experts in issues related to parenting adolescents and to share experiences of parenting teenagers. Meetings will be held from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the school library.
The book for our Fall semester is Girls and Sex: Navigating the Complicated New Landscape, by Peggy Orenstein.

This recently published New York Times Bestseller is based on interviews with over 70 girls between the ages of 15 and 20 and explores the cultural messages that girls receive that impact their view of their bodies, their awareness of their choices, and their sense of self worth. It is a book for parents of both daughters and sons.
Please use this form to sign-up for any or all of the meetings.
