Longtime O’Dowd supporters Glen and Mary Hentges understand the impact the Transforming Lives Dinner has on O’Dowd students. Glen was a member of the O’Dowd Board of Regents for six years (2011-2017), serving as Board chairperson for two years, and their two children – Alex ’11 and Tyler ’15 – are O’Dowd alums.
So, they didn’t hesitate when asked to serve as co-chairpersons of this year’s event. It’s the second time they’ve filled the leadership role for this important fundraising event. “The Transforming Lives Dinner is key to enabling so many talented, wonderful students to attend the school. O’Dowd is a special place and part of what is makes it so special is the enthusiasm, talent, inquisitiveness and diversity of its student population,” the couple said.
“More than 30% of the school’s students benefit from the financial aid provided and every student benefits from the wonderful mix of students that are part of the O’Dowd community.”
Please join us by supporting the Transforming Lives Dinner. Whether directly or indirectly, all O’Dowd students benefit from this event, thanks to you!
