Born in San Francisco and raised in Burlingame, Sayetha began her career in education in 2010 as a paraprofessional supporting students with special needs. She later became a classroom teacher, spending more than a decade teaching both Special Education and General Education at the elementary level. After 13 years in the classroom, she stepped into her current role as Attendance Coordinator, where she continues to build meaningful relationships with students and families while supporting their success in a more individualized way. She believes O’Dowd is a special place—a caring community where everyone is valued and encouraged to show up as their authentic self.
