Teaching has always felt like a calling for Lina. She earned her BA in Social Sciences and her Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University, as well as a Master’s in Theological Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.

Lina finds great joy in working with adolescents and helping students explore questions of faith, identity, and purpose. She believes students learn best when they feel valued and respected, and she strives to create an interactive classroom where students can reflect on their beliefs and experiences. Lina sees faith as something that touches every aspect of life—shaping how we understand God, the world, and ourselves. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, listening to music, going for walks, and staying connected with her daughters (often by text). A fun fact: her first language was Italian.
