Born and raised in and around the Bay Area, Cory joined O'Dowd because she was drawn by the vision and impact of the Living Lab more than 20 years after first hearing about it. She earned her BA in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. As Moderator of the Eco Leaders Advanced Leadership Team, she is grateful to be part of a legacy of kinship with creation, working toward a more just, joyful, and sustainable world. When she is not in the Living Lab or collaborating with student leaders, she can often be found reimagining what others discard—always looking for ways to repurpose and reduce waste, guided by the belief that each of us has the power to make a meaningful difference.
