The drama department is proud to announce our spring show, Urinetown: The Musical! Winner of three Tony Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself!

In the not-so-distant future, a terrible water shortage has led to a government ban on private toilets and a proliferation of paid public toilets, owned and operated by a single megalomaniac company: the Urine Good Company. If the poor don’t obey the strict laws prohibiting free urination, they’ll be sent to the dreaded and mysterious “Urinetown.” Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

Suitable for ages 10 and up!
