Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I attend?
Celebrate your reunion and reconnect with classmates over some great food and wine! The event is planned by O’Dowd so you and your classmates don’t need to worry about venue fees, deposits or schlepping. Come back to campus, reunite with friends and beloved faculty, and reminisce about how much has changed … and how much has stayed the same.
Who can attend?
We are honoring the classes celebrating their quinquennial reunions: 1958; 1963; 1968; 1973; 1978; 1983; 1988; 1993; 1998; 2003; 2008 and 2013. However, all Dragons and their guests are welcome to return to O’Dowd and reconnect.
All attendees must be age 21+.

How do I RSVP?
Registration opens online on March 12: http://www.bishopodowd.org/grand-reunion-2018/. Early bird registration is until April 12th and registration for the event closes on May 18th.
Will my class have a separate section?
Your class will have its own designated area, though we also encourage you to mix and mingle with the greater O’Dowd community!
Can my class still get together on its own?
Yes! In fact, we are ending at 8 PM so classes may get together off-campus for a more intimate gathering. We also encourage classes to take advantage of the day before or day after to plan a class outing.
Will there be activities?
Absolutely! Cooking demonstrations will enable you to take home a delicious goodie that you make with ingredients from O’Dowd’s Living Lab. We will also have campus tours, music, and games to play on the Quad.
What should I wear?
Wear casual party clothing and comfortable footwear that allows you to walk around and mingle. You may want to bring a light jacket as it can get windy in the evening. We also love O’Dowd wear!
Why did you choose June 2?
We want to make sure you have plenty of space to mix and mingle so we chose a rare day when there won’t be other events or summer construction happening on campus.
Are children allowed?
As alcohol will be present, this event is only for those 21 years and older. Sorry, no children allowed.
What happens if it rains?
Rain or shine, this Grand Reunion is happening. We’ll make the necessary adjustments for rain.
What if my plans change and I need to cancel my RSVP?
Due to catering and vendor commitments, tickets are non-refundable.
