Dear Parents and Students,
Next week is final exams week. Students do not have final exams for Biology, Flex Periods, Study Halls, and some courses with projects for finals. Additionally, some senior students may be exempt from the final if they have achieved a 93% or better in the class. Students are only required to be on campus when they are taking finals. A parent phone call is not required for a student to leave campus after their first final, however, they will need a dismissal slip from the attendance office.
Just a reminder that AC Transit is not able to accommodate our schedule during finals week. The AC Transit 680 and 682 buses will pick up in the morning as usual and bring the students to school. Their pick-up times will remain the same.They will come to take students home at 12:17 p.m., but our finals do not end until 12:30 p.m. Click here to view AC transit schedule.
Carpooling may be the best alternate for many families, and our BART shuttle to San Leandro BART may work for some. If your student is not a regular BART shuttle rider, he/she will need to submit a signed Bart Shuttle permission form to Mr. Gerald Bennett, in Rm. 13 in order to participate.
