Service Learning with those experiencing homelessness

Justice Education Days are organized by St. Anthony’s staff. They include a workshop, direct service, and debrief discussion. It is a powerful experience in just 5 hours.

10th Graders prepare themselves in Religion class the day before the trip and have follow-up reflections with their teacher afterward to deepen the learning.

Parent Chaperones Needed

We need five parent chaperones for each retreat day. This is also a great personal experience for parents.

Parent Chaperones may go the entire day with the class (7:30 AM to 3 PM), or meet the group in San Francisco at 9:00 AM and depart at Noon. Please e-mail Ms. Yvorsky at if interested or for more information.

Students, if you were not in your Catholic Experience class for the Student Orientation, (1 class day before your retreat) download a packet and permission slip under Resources. The packet includes details of the day and the homework assignment due the class day after your immersion
