Why I Teach:
To pay it forward; I had teachers who believed in me when I did not and empowered me to take risks and grow. I would like make a difference with students and pay it forward.
Most powerful teaching technique:
Blended learning with scaffolding and supporting them to make a personal connection. I also provide self reflection after each major assessment/project to develop growth mindset thinking.
Why are the subjects you teach important?:
English supports your ability to express your ideas and be understood, as well as understand the views and thoughts of others.
Executive function skills are the corner stone to life skills and essential to get things done.
