CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION
The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) exists to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of students in California schools. O’Dowd has an official CSF chapter. Life membership requires one of the four semesters of membership be earned with senior grades, so students are encouraged to apply early.
Membership is based on scholarship and citizenship only. Membership is held during the semester following when qualifying grades were earned and is for one semester only. In order to become a member, student’s must submit an application each semester, following the point system specified in the CSF State By-Laws. Students must earn sufficient points using the pre-approved course lists. The majority of the required membership points must come from University of California accepted course work.
