AP Environmental Science Immersion

On the APES camping trip, you will immerse yourself in nature,friendship, and learning.  Lose yourself to the majesty of the redwood forest, to the grand vistas of our rugged Pacific Coast, and to the vastness of the night sky.

If you decide to join this adventure, you will:

• Experience five days exploring and four nights camping.
• Gain a deeper understanding of the diverse ecosystems of this special part of the California Coast.
• Learn how businesses use natural resources sustainably. 
• Practice field science techniques.
• Gain a real world introduction to many APES topics.
• Develop a framework of experience that you will build on for the rest of your time in APES and beyond.  

This is a unique opportunity offered only to incoming AP Environmental Science students.
