Freshmen
  • Group meeting with freshmen to orient them to Counseling Services
  • Freshmen NEDT Testing on Test Day in October (results returned in December)
  • Personal and academic counseling, including scheduling
  • Referrals to outside community resources, as needed
  • On-campus support groups covering a variety of teen issues
  • Introduction to Family Connection/Naviance through Hebrew Scriptures class On Your Mark project
  • Learning Styles Inventory though Family Connection

Sophomores
  • Bishop O'Dowd High School College Night (September)
  • Sophomore PLAN testing on Test Day in October (results returned in December)

  • Referrals to outside community resources, as needed
  • Introduction to Career Resource Center
  • Completion of Personality Inventory and Career Inventory through Family Connection/Naviance through Get Set project
  • Teen Challenge meetings for sophomore parents
  • College Night for parents (spring)
Juniors
  • Bishop O'Dowd High School College Night (September)
  • Teen Challenge meeting for junior parents
  • Personal, academic and college counseling (scheduling included)
  • On-campus support groups covering a variety of teen issues
  • Referral to outside community resources, as needed
  • Junior PSAT testing on Test Day in October (results returned in January)
  • PSAT/SAT Reasoning/SAT Subject/ACT test information
  • Development of a college list and testing timeline
  • Career and College Workshop during Christian Morality class
  • Completion of College Search through Family Connection/Naviance program through Go project
  • Junior Career Day
