Cross Country Practice Begins on Monday, August 16 at 5pm

Cross Country practice for all athletes will begin on Monday, August 16th at Joaquin Miller Park (corner of Sanborn Drive and Joaquin Miller Road below the yellow gate)from 5-7pm. Practice at Joaquin Miller will continue through Wednesday, August 18th.  All levels of ability are welcome.  On Friday, August 20 the team will meet in the football bleachers at Bishop O'Dowd and hold practice from 3:30-5:30pm. All planning to participate need to bring athletic wear and running shoes on Friday. Damajeria DuBose finishes 94th with a time of 20:20 for the 3.1 mile course in the girls Division III  CIF state cross country championships at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Damajeria DuBose finished 5th with a personal best 18 minutes, 44 seconds on the 3.0-mile course in the North Coast Section Division III cross country meet to advance to the state championships.  The Bishop O'Dowd women's and men's cross country teams finished 7th and 11th respectively overall in the NCS Div.
