We are mindful of the investment that you are making in your child’s education and understand that affording tuition is a major factor in whether your child attends Bishop O’Dowd High School. We do everything we can to ensure affordability for the widest range of students without sacrificing the top-notch education for which O’Dowd is known.
Here are typical costs for new families to attend O’Dowd (2018-19):
- $18,740 Tuition
- $ 1,100 Registration Deposit (non-refundable)
- $19,840 Total
Additional annual costs for which to budget are:
- $1,800 or more Tax-deductible parent pledge
- Fees for technology, books, athletics, co-curricular clubs, other programs
Parents are asked to make a tax-deductible pledge of $1,800 per year or more to bridge the gap between the actual cost of an O’Dowd education and the tuition charged. Those who are unable to donate that amount are asked to pledge what they can afford. Additional expenses may also be incurred for technology and books and for optional student activities such as athletics, co-curricular clubs and student programs.
